Hey Krista, I know it's been a couple of weeks since tragedy befell your household. I just wanted you to know how very truly sorry I am for your loss.
John was a good guy. I can't imagine the hole in your life now. I do feel for your sorrow.
He was the most reasonable 'developer' I have run across in my tenure as the ACRA director. He took the time to drag me around his projects and talk about where I thought our county was going. He was interested in how he could help recreation get what is needed while he developed his projects. All along he was willing to work with me for the betterment of his project, but also for the betterment of the community.
Krista, you know what he told me his favorite things to do were? Spend time with his family and "you know..." He completely took me by surprise. He was an interesting person with a colorful background. He brought a splash of color to the ordinary black and white that comprises this county.
Again, I am truly sorry for your loss.
