John Michael "Scully" O'Sullivan

John Michael "Scully" O'Sullivan, Taken from us way too soon...

We never do know when that time may come for me, for you, our friends and family. And there's always so much we wish we could have done, sometimes just as simple as saying I love you.

One could say we're without words over John's tragedy, but actually the words we have are best not put in print. We're outraged and devastated that a fellow human being could have such disregard for the life of another.

John's sheer size and his enthusiasm for life may have seemed intimating at first. But my Big friend that I knew was actually a gentle bear eager and ready to play with you. I always enjoyed John's visits to our winery and very much looked forward to deepening our friendship. I had the wonderful opportunity to visit his Mom and Dad's bed & breakfast on Valentia Island in 2007(whom I hope to visit again) and my heart cries out to them. John impressed me constantly with his level of energy, enthusiasm and commitment to life and his 'Green' developmental goals.
All our love and sympathies go out to Krista and the entire family.

Even though I make wine of which John imbibed a little, John and I would always end our visits with a parting glass of Ireland's water of life. I will always remember John as I raise the parting glass.
