At 10:16am on August 21, 2009, John R. Pulskamp said…: I don't know if I've ever met Scully or not. It is quite possible because I am, and have been for years, a frequent visitor to Amador County. A couple of days ago my brother-in-law told me what had happened, and it saddened me. These things are always tragic, especially for the family and the kids. My heart goes out to them. Peace on them, and may good memories eventually, but quickly, blot out their sadness.

Perhaps now is the time if we lose our ranch why not just hit the road with the entire crew?! What better education? But a woman alone with children isn't the smartest despite how I'd like to wish it were so. Well I'm sure we'll meet. I look forward to it. Thank you again for your kindness. It means a lot.
